I was thinking the other day that I've had quite a few video cards in my time, so I took a few minutes and wrote them all down. Pretty complete list I think. I can't remember in the very way back, that whole Trident/Tseng Labs period is a little fuzzy now. I think the 9700 Pro was the longest lived - heck of a card. I seem to have developed a penchant for EVGA there at the end.

Timeline’s a little murky on this part:

My first video card was the extended 80 column card in my Apple IIe, but that probably doesn't count. :p

Back then i was mostly a console gamer, the dell we had couldn't even run UT 2004 so i just sticked with consoles until i built my own system and switched over.:)
 
LOL at mine ,

First one i had was in 91, when i was like 5 . So dont know what PC it was .
Next in 97, still dont know what chipset was in there, but it played FIFA99 good.
Next Intel 852/855 integrated chipset in IBM R51 laptop .
All of that took 16 years coming


These things that i wanted all my life came after so many years of waiting and 5 months of each other,LOL
Next finally a discrete card, ATI Radeon 9200 SE, 9250 250MB
