I just got a new M.2 SSD and went to install it in my laptop and the pins fit fine but the mounting hole on the SSD is about 3/4 inch short of where the screw to attach it to the laptop frame is. Is there any way to mount it with some sort of bracket or extender, or do I just need to buy a longer SSD?

That's cheap, but it's also what one pizza cost.
The question is, is anyone going to see it?
Or is it better to eat a pizza or drink two beers?

i cut up a piece of plastic, like from an old cd case sort of, and put it over the top of the the ssd stick and then put the screw through it. it was less ghetto than tape but not a non-ghetto solution.

This is just the right amount of ghetto that I was looking for. Thanks!
