Hello,
I just purchased a Samsung 46" LCD along with a Sony Blue-Ray player. When I run movies (even dvd's but especially bluerays) the result is that the movie ends up looking very very cheesy. I mean we are talking B-grade porno here.
I can't decide if its the sharp edges, or the lighting, or what. But somewhere in the midst of the high definition upgrade there was exponential increase in the cheese. So far the movies I've watched in Blue-Ray are Iron Man and Transporter (the latter needed no help being cheesy before I watched it in HD).
Does anyone know what settings if any I might be able to fiddle with to make movies look more like movies again?
Thanks in advance for any help.
