My Team Group L5 LITE 2.5" 240GB SATA III 2D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) died in just a couple
days of use.

Bought this for a PC I'm selling as an OS drive. I got the machine installed and working, then the drive died a couple days later. I won't be ordering from them again based on newegg and amazon reviews stating similar early deaths. I didn't give those poor reviews much credence because in my experience SSD's rarely die, and these had a 3 year warranty - BUT... for a few $ more - it's probably worth buying a more established brand with less poor reviews for future purchases. I noticed HP NVME's are $37 for 240GB. That's the route I'll go this time. Instead of the Team Group for $27. Faster, HP namesake reliability, HP EX900 M.2 250GB NVME for just $10 more. Would have saved me a ton of time if I just started there.

I've never used them. I generally use Intel (when its actually competitive), Samsung or Corsair drives for other people's builds or my own. I'm starting to like these Inland drives from Microcenter. So far, so good.

Theres few things more aggravating than brand new components dying right off the git.
I lost an ocz something 128gb(1st ever ssd) long long ago after only a couple of weeks use but they were excellent in replacing it( its a shame what toshiba did with them). I wasnt under a time crunch but they had the new drive in my hands in less than a week.
I primarily stick with samsung for nvme and crucial for ssds but i read some really good reviews and caught a sweet deal on a adata xpg sx8200 pro 512gb. Its been solid for the 1st couple months(knock on wood). I may buy a 1tb in the next few weeks.

PNY CS1311 corrupted in under a years time. I eventually replaced it with an HP drive

For home or work or customers I always buy from Crucial, Samsung or Sandisk / WDC. Although that does not mean I will be 100% free of a DOA drive. Any drive from any manufacturer can die at any time. Better brands will have a lower percent chance of failure but still greater than 0%.

Sandisk SSD Plus 480g. Died after about 2 years of usage as a games drive. Replaced under warranty. Didn't use replacement right away but its been fine for 10+ months.

I had an original OCZ Vertez 64GB die. That’s the only SSD die on my with use. I had a Microcenter 1TB drive come dead on arrival, but Microcenter took care of it and the replacement has been zero issue (or the several other Inland SSD’s I have).

Generally I am VERY satisfied with the reliability of SSD’s. HDD’s didn’t even become remotely reliable until the early 2000’s. So SSD’s maturity rate has been like a rocket.
