My 7970 Quad-Fire Build

Heh thanks guys! Was fun telling a guy at gamestop what i run BF3 with as he would'nt stop buggin me to pre-order games.. Told him i game on the PC and play mostly BF3. He was all i have a weak graphics card that cant run BF3 thats why i play it on the console. I told him then you dont want to know what i have.. and he asked.

Quick question: How did you display GPU usage / temps / etc on your LCD keyboard? I have a G510, and I'd find that extremely useful. Thanks
 
Download MSI Afterburner ( you'll want the newest beta 2.2.0 14 beta) search for it on guru3d for beta... overclocking tool for graphics cards. Open it up and click on the bottom were it says "settings". Open up the Monitor tab and for each item that you want to monitor select it and check mark at the bottom while highlighted "show in logitechs LCD or something like that. You can change the font size which i use the max so you can read it easier and hit save.
 
Load up Metro 2033.

I wanna see what kind of frames you get.

Awesome system!! I'm envious!! I have a question though, from my own experience. Have you tripped any breakers in your house at all from your system?

I ask because last year I built a tri-fire (6990+6970) system, and I also had a portable AC in the room. I live in Texas, and it gets hot here, and having 3 GPUS kicking out heat doesn't help things. I of course have central AC, but to make my office cool I'd have to freeze the whole house, so a portable room AC is perfect. The first time I fired the whole thing up, I tripped a circuit breaker... It surprised me

Any chance of getting pics of your radiator setup? Im dying to see how you got your GPUs so cool with so much on one loop.
 
Hey eclypse what is your minimum/maximum framerates when playing some BF3 in Eyefinity anyway? I'm curious, do you play on like Ultra everything with 4xmsaa or 8x or what exactly? How much performance can a person get by doing this insane setup lmfao!
 
I think his computer is in the kitchen, since women aren't allowed to leave there.
 
Anyone that is interested... I'm going to be selling all this off shorty. Just finishing up the pics today and hope to have it out soon.

I plan on parting the whole thing out including all the fans and even the case.

Never used it and found a new hobby that fits better with my 0 free time with kids hehe.

man thats really sad to hear. i think most of us on this forum can sympathize with not having enough gaming time. :( GLWS!
