Must have OSX apps?

iLife (iTunes + iPhoto especially), Office or iWork, Toast, Fetch

If you do graphics and/or web work: Photoshop, Dreamweaver.

Quicksilver, Newsfire, Adium, SubEthaEdit

Camino is nice, but I've been using Safari more lately.
Unison is nice for usenet access, but I don't know if I'd call it "must have"

hmm, beyond the big commercial stuff (iLife, Creative Suite, StudioMX and Office) I would say Adium, (multi-client IM) Cocktail and the MS Remote Desktop Client. I also use MacStumbler to find WiFi networks quite often.

Thunderbird/Mozilla/Firefox
RBrowserLite (FTP)
Audacity
Azureus
Clear Dock
Quinn (tetris)
Konfabulator
Limewire
Menu Meters
N (ninja game)
Norton Utilities/Tech Tools Pro
Real One Player
Remote Desktop Connection
StreamRipper X
Toast
VLC
Virex
Xoptimize

now this is wierd...I have just loaded adium and can't get it to work with my .mac account to save my life...I know the user name and pw are correct cause I can log into that site...

Limewire blows for P to P. Do Poisioned or Xfactor instead.

really, because I've found the opposite. I can usually find what I'm looking for in Limewire, while the others still search...and search... etc.

theres a link to a huge list of software in the FAQ :D

i use ilife, adiumx, and firefox. heh.

edit: AND LAUNCHBAR <-- the bomb.

Jeriko: you mean Limewire for the PC or the Mac? I dont see a mac in your sig.

It works better IME on the PC than it does the Mac.

ok...fixed adium..if you want to use your .Mac account you have to put the ENTIRE account name and not just the first part then it will work :D happy camper now

The rig in my sig is my home computer, but I work on a Mac. Which is where I use Limewire.Pro (the full version)

I have used limewire for Windows and Linux. It is definately one of the worst.

my pleasure:

Thunderbird/Mozilla/Firefox [free]
RBrowserLite (FTP) [free]
Audacity [free]
Azureus [free]
Clear Dock [free]
Quinn (tetris) [free]
Konfabulator [pay]
Limewire [free]
Menu Meters [pay?]
N (ninja game) [free]
Norton Utilities/Tech Tools Pro [pay]
Real One Player [free]
Remote Desktop Connection [free]
StreamRipper X [free]
Toast [pay]
VLC [free]
Virex [pay]
Xoptimize [free]
...additions...
Office X [pay]
Stuffit Deluxe/DropZip [pay]
iTunes [free]
Divx [free]

As you can see, I'm not a big fan of buying software... the freer the better! Though the ones I did buy were well worth it.

Much appreciated! I was getting worried that my wallet would have to take another big hit after buying my PB!
