Greetings,

As you can see in my sig, I'm running two 2Gb sticks of Mushkin pc1600.

I'm planning on upgrading to the following

Asus P8Z77-V LK
i7 3770K
gtx 690
Windows 8 64

I'm not planning in getting new RAM yet.

Will the two mushkins do fine?

I'm not planning on aggressive OC....

Thanks.

4GB is mostly still sufficient for most purposes, and RAM speed doesn't matter (the difference in going from DDR3 1600 to DDR3 2000 is around %1-2).

Though, 4GB is considered the minimum at this time and date. It's possible to hit the virtual memory pool on an intensive round of BF3 with 4GB RAM. You can first keep it and give it a try, but it probably would help to get 4GB more.

Is the above performance increase under OC or stock speeds?

Can I push the 3770K over 4.2Ghz with the pc1600 memory?

what memory would you recommend for non-agressive OC?

Neither of these should be recommended on any recent Intel CPU since it is 1.65V which Intel says may damage your CPU. Also the standard is 1.5V.

Is this mem good?
