I have the U100 and it's a great system.

If this is the case, anyone wanting a msi wind w/2gb of ram better look for the U100 160gb 6cell model.

Not upgradeable to 2GB. I have one and it will not take 2GB ram.

if you use the 1gb onboard you can only use a 1gb ram stick but if you want to use a 2gb stick you have turn off the onboard ram in the bios. did this on my wind and its working perfectly.

Me too, although I JUST installed the 1 gig stick... it was running 1 gig fine for a couple months without problems. I'm not sure why other people had such problems with Vista and 1 gig, although I did vlite a lot of things off... but that was just so it could fit on my 1 gig USB stick to install it.

I never tried it on my netbook, but my core1 dou 1.73ghz-1gb was rather pokey with vista premium. A 4GB ramtransplant fixed that issue.
