MSI Radeon R9 270 Gaming

For those of you interested, the ThinkComputers crew has published a review of the MSI Radeon R9 270 Gaming video card today.

Lately we have been taking a look at a lot of Radeon R9 280X graphics cards. These are based on the Tahiti GPU that was also found in AMD’s Radeon HD 7900 series cards. For those not looking to spend as much money the next step down in AMD’s latest graphics cards is the R9

I don't understand reviews that compare gaming perfomrnace solely to video cards in a superior category. R9 270 vs GTX 770...?

I thought these were almost exclusively for litecoin mining.

I got mine to mine. My Dual 3GB GTX 580's stomp all over this card.

I would certainly hope so, 2 times as many cards, each at prob 50% more power usage sure as well better stomp a card that costs almost 1/3rd (179-199 vs 499 - 550) the 580..

then again I guess STOMP is relative,.. if you consider 580 = 670 = 760... then yeah 5-10% is really STOMPING...

hint 270X = 7870 vs GTX 580 = WHHHATT !?
