MSI Motherboard updated bios by itself?

Ok so I am running the MSI motherboard in my signature. It is an MSI Z68A-GD65.

Today I updated my corsair link software and when it was done I rebooted my system. Upon rebooting it appeared that my bios reset itself. Upon entering the bios I realized it was upgraded to the latest version.

Now I do not have a single piece of MSI software installed on my computer. No live update, no software suite, nothing but the drivers and software for my mouse, keyboard and h100i cooler.

I have absolutely no effin clue how this happened!

Any ideas at all?

Not that I know of but I will double check. Dunno why it would have updated now when its been running like it was for over a year.
