Promo Code: $20 off EMCLNMP26
Discounted prices and/or promo codes are valid till 02/19/2009.

At the moment Adding the card to cart forces FC2 to be added and gives this msg:
Promotional code discount can not be combined with combo or gift item on same order.

Solution:
1) Chat with a Newegg rep and knowing past history, they'll credit the $20 back to you.
2) Bombard the Newegg rep on here with "WTF MAN" PMs.

Nice "solution", have you tried that yourself? :p

for someone who has to have a card right now its an ok deal i spose, but ATI is about to drop the prices on the 4800 series so i'd wait.

ATi said they will drop prices or u just think they will cause new stuff in a couple months?
link?

New stuff (aka. 4890) is gonna be MSRPed at $299. I'm not seeing what's at $299 right now that needs to be dropped to accommodate that launch. Speculation FTL. And if it did happen, 2 entire months is a long time, in which case you would do well to keep waiting forever for ever-decreasing price drops.
$179.99 AR.. sell FC2 for $20? 55nm GTX260 for $159.99 = win.

last month they dropped the msrp of the 4870x2 by $100, then said they will drop the 4870 and 4850x2 prices more aggressively in a few weeks to go against the gtx 260 and 280, i read it last month somewhere i cant remember where it was, so yeah, epic fail to me for no link:D ATI can afford to do it aswell so i don't doubt them for one minute.

and yeah if you can flog far cry for 20 bux and get the rebate in a timely fashion then 160 bux is quite good thinking about it.
