To put in perspective, I got an EVGA B-stock 1660Ti for ~$219+tax. There were still a bunch on there last week.

Looks like there are still a couple on there for 229 and 239.

Would these be a worth-it upgrade over a GTX 1060 6GB? That graph seems to indicate possibly a 40% performance jump between the two? If so, that's a pretty big performance jump for me for not a lot of $

Realistically, they perform comparable to a 1070Ti just with less VRAM and a lower power draw. You can probably grab a 1070Ti cheaper used vs. the 1660Ti.

1070ti are going for nearly $300 atm.

I don't think so. A quick browsing of sold used 1070Ti's on ebay shows most between $200-250 for auctions. The high end sales are high end cards like Strix and MSI Titanium, and there are several blowers under $200. I've seen them sub-$200 in the forums.

If you go much above $200, I think it starts to lose it's luster though as you can get a newer card with lower power draw for not much more. I can't imagine that 6GB vs. 8GB will matter much with the GPU's involved. I have a 1660Ti, and it's a pretty good card overall. I had a 1070Ti and that was also a good card. I don't think you could go wrong either way.

Sounds good, thanks for the input! :)

I'm sort-of a sucker for lower heat / lower power draw so might lean 1660ti, but it may depend on what kind of deal I can find. Didn't realize used 1070ti's were hitting those price ranges now

A 1660Ti is comparable to a 1070Ti? God damn Nvidia and their convoluted number system, what happened to 60,70,80 easy to understand, and Ti for the "better one", now we got Supers and the 1600 series that now has a 60 as good as a 70?
