MSI Afterburner 4.6.1 framerate onscreen display option greyed out?

I am monitoring cpu and gpu temps and %usage. Want to also show the framerate onscreen during games. Any idea why the framerate is not working? It is greyed out and cannot be turned on.

Is Rivatuner Statistics Server installed along with Afterburner? It needs to be running at the same time as Afterburner for OSD.

yeah make sure riva is installed and then you also have to tick the little checkmarks. in my menu the monitoring selection all appears grey but its the checkmarks that you need to tick.

Nevermind, I was clicking on the word framerate. You are supposed to click to the left of the word to get the checkmark. Oops.

I once made the same mistake too lol.

aloe or coconut oil might help. hopefully its not wireless...
