MS SyncToy Question

Aight, asking here, mostly to confirm.

I am using SyncToy to copy some files over on a monthly basis.

It is all picture files (the majority are .eps files).
All I want is for it to scan the directory and copy the new files to our external hard drive.

Right now it is set to Contribute, which I believe is the proper setting.

There will be virtually no rework of existing pictures (possible in a few, rare cases). I don't need any copied from the external back to the server.

Does that seem like the right setting or would something else be better to use?

I have my Left folder as the current picture directory and the right picture folder the external directory it needs to go to.

Sounds right to me. That way, there should be no deletions on the right.

Just be sure that if you don't want a file on the left to delete it manually on the right.
