What does DustMite's statement have to do with that?
I wonder what percent of Yahoo's workforce is going to have to be fired for them to afford to do this.
Yahoo still exists?
I'm just kidding, they own 15% of Alibaba, cash reserves... and the rest of the company literally has negative work. Go do the math, the rest of Yahoo is literally a liability. Maybe refocusing around being a venture capital company really is the way to go. It's not like their internet properties are worth a damn, they've run them all into the ground like a crashing jetliner.
Do you realize that Yahoo is the #1 news Website? More people go to Yahoo for their news than CNN and Fox News Combined. You don't think that's worth anything?
No I don't think a site that just links to all the garbage reporting from the major media sites is worth anything.

How is FF a clone of chromium? Round tabs? Some people..
Don't trust what you read on forums, go educate yourself and apply a little critical thinking.
The newest FF leaks more memory than the older version I was using before. This thing is shit
It's worth infinitely less than nothing. And thank you for explaining one of the major reasons why the American people are so pathetically uninformed. Yahoo is half entertainment news, the other half is pure AP propaganda. Like Huffpo and just about all other news sites in the U.S. these days. There is no objective journalism, just corporate shilling.Do you realize that Yahoo is the #1 news Website? More people go to Yahoo for their news than CNN and Fox News Combined. more the whole 'drop the titlebar, move the tabs to the very top of the screen, and screw over people who use RDP but don't want the RDP bar at the top to be on autohide' idea, I assume.
I still hate how that was done.
I hate auto-hide.
I still use FF since it came out. First browser to invent tab browsing and they even patented it. IE, Chrome, safari, and opera only copied it but using more instances of the same exe that runs it.
When I see chrome users I ask them how many chromes does it take to get on the internet. They say one I say look at task manager and C4.

maybe its just me and my internet connect that is 8 times faster than the US average but the internet is like super fast amirite?Maybe it's just me but I never have speed problems or worry about size of my browser with Internet Explorer and an SSD.:
Isn't the Huffpo apparently the "communist mouthpiece of the reds" or something? How are they "corporate shilling"?
Yahoo is 1/4 entertainment news, 1/4 sports (typically linking to SBNation), 1/4 news (usually AP, AFP, and Reuters), and the remaining 1/4 becomes dependent on the viewer, it might be more news but more on tech, or finance, or more local.

Big corporations LOVE communism. They can buy all the government officials and be sure that no one able to be a threat will ever enter the market.
And Firefox is gay.
Corporations love a hyper-regulated state which invariably create a stagnant uncompetitive closed club.
Huffpo is a representative of the left the same way Eleanor Clift is a representative of the left on The McLaughlin Group. It's an extremely corporate/Pentagon/pro-Israel/etc-centric bent on nearly all reporting. The true left, which includes 85% of Earth's population outside the U.S., is either Communist or socialist, neither viewpoint is ever heard from on our media. In Reagan's corrupted vernacular a liberal is anyone who supports our government giving food stamps to starving Americans.Isn't the Huffpo apparently the "communist mouthpiece of the reds" or something? It's the only company that still seems to be making a browser based on simply making the best browser possible
It's not obvious that this is actually a motivation over there. Technically speaking, FF is one of the worst browsers out there, and is frequently shown to be the least secure at Pwn2Own.
Just because it's a non-profit org and people show up to their jobs every day doesn't mean they're interested in pushing the browser experience forward. If the employees were as passionate about making a good browser as they are about LGBT hysterics, FF would be the best browser right now (technically speaking).

So all the love for corporations from the right is unrequited?

So if you "pwn" the Firefox process, you then don't have to worry about breaking out of the sandbox. With NoScript, Firefox is probably the most secure browser.
Really? If it bothers you so much, why don't you just enable the Menu bar? View > Toolbars > Menu Bar. ffs
And since I have an Android phone and tablet, plus Gmail, I dunno something rubs me the wrong way about using a Google based browser too.
Yup, this really did turn into a "the browser I use is better than the browser you use" argument.
Anywho, did anyone notice the way Mozilla pointed out their goals as like, "improving choice and innovation," and in the context of the change? It's almost like they're sort of saying bad things about Google in a political hide-y and sneak-y way.
