I'm trying to move 10+gb of emails from one box, let's say [email protected] to [email protected]. Both use IMAP. I tried using Thunderbird for about 1/4 of it and it ended up not transferring even though it said it was moving them it then didn't say it was moving them and I refreshed the target and there were only a few emails (definitely not 1/4 of the source) and the source still had all of the emails except for a few. In other words, it only transferred a few emails out of thousands and didn't give any further update or indication it was doing anything. in fact, I let it run for 5 hours straight and there was still no update on the [email protected] so it must have just stopped sending.
What would you use? Something that has a low overhead? It doesn't necessarily need to have a GUI, I can handle a command line just fine. I'm just not familiar with what is out there except Thunderbird and Outlook.
