Here's the deal: new, straight from Nintendo Wii console unit. I want an "old" Wii from launch era (D2C-DMS, D2A, D2B). You can check what drive chipset you have by giving me your purchase date + looking up your serial # here. No VC content preferably...you don't have to send your Wiimote, just need the Wii itself.

Willing to pay shipping both ways, plus say $10 for your trouble?

I updated my OP w/ how to tell; you can look up your serial # here: http://nintendo-scene.com/wiitracker Also, just found out I can widen my search parameters to the following chipsets: DMS, D2A, and D2B.
