Back in 2011 I built a ZFS rig with 2TB Hitachi Deskstar 5K3000s, model number 0F12117. They had 512 byte sector size, 32MB of cache, and 5900RPM "CoolSpin" spindle speeds. I put 12 of them in a 24 drive Norco chassis and made a RAID-Z2 resulting in 17.7TB of usable space.

Now 3 years laters, I've finally used up that 17.7TBs and am looking to expand. I want to add another 12x 2TB RAID-Z2 to the zpool to get 35.4TB of usable space, and fill up the rest of the HDD slots in the chassis.

The 5K3000s have been discontinued and Hitachi has been absorbed by Toshiba. What I am looking for is the drive most similar to the 5K3000s in terms of performance and specs, so that the zpool performance will be as balanced as possible. I believe 512 byte sectors is a necessity for compatibility? 2TB drive size is required because my SAS expander cards only support up to 2TB.

Looking for any drive suggestions, thanks!

A Seagate green? Don't they spin at 5900 RPM instead of 5400? And while the Seagates use 4KB physical sectors, they're emulated to look like 512B sectors.
