If I have 3 different sticks of ram all of which have different timings what would happen? Im not sure but i think the two I have now have different timings and I want a third one which will probably be different too. What way will that affect me?

Your computer will basically take the slowest timings (the slowest module) on one module and apply it to all other modules...

Yep, plus it'll limit you if you plan to OC. I have a PC3200 DIMM and a PC3500 DIMM and they overclock for crap. If I have just the PC3200 DIMM in, it'll OC just fine. That's why I'm getting two matched DIMMs and getting rid of this memory... ;)

Depending on where it puts which module, it might go the other. With the BIOS reading the module with the fast timings and applying it to the others.

You cant do serious damage, here. So try different combinations.

So I should go ahead and get another 512MB? Just dont wanna waste the money.

ahhh. both the sticks i have now are xms3200LL so I guess theyre the same after all:)
