Minnesota/Twin Citie Gamers?

It's not looking too good for me. My wife has plans. Too bad, too, since I've been playing FEAR2 and I also replaced my Ultra X-Connect 500W PSU with an OCZ 700W modular.

Yea, that X-Connect actually lasted through my Socket A, 939, and AM2 rig. I decided it was time to replace it after 5 years, though, even though it worked fine still :)
 
I'll have to kick out an email to Steve and RJ to get something coordinated. It's been too long! :D
 
We're thinking of possibly having it memorial day weekend, the 23rd. Anyone up for that?
 
I'm a maybe. Depends if my wife has any plans for us on Memorial Day. If not, then I'm in, possibly my son too. Mike will probably make it too.
 
I think I can make it too, my friend is having another lanparty that weekend and it is annual, so it's gonna be an interesting weekend full of gaming. :eek:

Everyone is welcome to give us a try. Right now we're mostly still playing FEAR Combat, CoD4 and occasionally we play UT2004/UT3 and other games that we bring to try out. We're up for trying anything out, just have to wait for everyone to get a copy of a game when we try something new.

Yes, we've had this MN LAN party going almost every month for about 2 and 1/2 years now. It's always a good time... :D
 
Actually, just checked and I've been attending these LAN parties that RJ and Steve throw together for almost 3 fun filled years now. Not sure how long they held them before I started going...

This is awesome, I'm in Saint Paul and have been looking for a lan party somewhere. I will definitely try to make it to one sometime soon!

To Pete and anyone else who hasn't been to any of our LAN parties, you're welcome to come any time. Just email me (or PM me) if you want an invite, so I can let you know the location and such. Our LAN parties are open to all... :D

Have never been to a LAN.....but I am in the TC area. Could be interested depending on dates and if you need/welcome another.

Okay everyone, next LAN party is the 25th of this month, at the bowling alley in St. Paul. I'm getting the address from Steve and will be sending out an invitation to everyone with that info soon. If you want to be added to the invitation list, please PM me. See you all there... :D
 
Glad to hear it. So far, from the feedback I have, we only have about 6 confirmed. Hopefully we'll have more that just show up.
 
I'm not sure we're going to have many. I'm going to check with Steve and RJ to see if we're going to have it with only 6 people confirmed. I'll post back when I know more. If you don't see anything, plan on it being held. If we have to cancel I'll post and send out an email to the group... ;)
 
Okay, so far it looks like we have 8 - 10 which doesn't cover the costs with getting the bowling alley and food. I'm checking with Steve and RJ to see what they want to do. I can cover extra if we're short, so hopefully we won't have to cancel. I'll post more when I know more.
 
Okay, we're still on. I'm gonna send an email as well to remind everyone. Dunno how many people will be there, but for sure we have Vex, Awktrix, myself, Steve, RJ, Budda and Ryan. I think Tony said he was going to try to make it as well, so we should have around 8 at least. Look forward to seeing you all there! :D
 
No, RJ and Steve both had conflicts. You can come over to my place and play WoW if you want... :D
 
Okay, official date is the 12th, next Saturday. Invitation was sent out last night. Please post here or email me if you plan to attend so we know how many chairs and tables are needed. We'll be holding this LAN at RJ's new place. The address is in the invitation that was sent out. If you didn't get an invitation and want to attend, PM me with your email address... ;)
