I recently gain access to large amounts of transformer oil, so i was thinking about building a submerged computer, instead of air it would be the transformer oil, so i´ve checked this site http://www.pugetsystems.com/submerged.php where they´ve built something similar, with very bad temps i might add, but still useful info.

First and foremost i have to "move" the fluid, in this case oil, so i was thinking something like a small ship´s screw propeller and just like in very large transformers i could use an oil pump and a radiator to cool the oil.

One of the things about this is the performance of the fans submerged in this fluid, they were not designed to run under this conditions, so i could get rid of them and put some very large heatsinks.

So what are your thoughts about this? i could really use the input ;)

how about using non- conductive coolant? :D *would that work better?*
