I was already starting to cringe while he was filling his lighter and smoking a cig at the same time.

Not to mention he did EVERYTHING wrong after the fact...it was almost painful to watch as he piled cardboard on top of burning material.

Okay, so this looks to be, I'd say, Japan. Don't they have super fast and cheap internet? Why is this guy not live streaming in superduper ultra, 3d VR quality?

Yeah, that's my only question/observation.

The fun begins at 4:45 if you want to skip forward.

He does things so wrong, and what he is doing leading up to the fire is so banal, that I question whether this is just another faked attempt to go viral. As always, ask the question: why is this being filmed?

See kids, smoking can kill you. I feel bad for this guy, even if he was being stupid. Noone deserves to have their house burn down from a stupid mistake. We can all see he should have thrown the burning bag out the window immediately, but hindsight is 20/20.

According to one news report, the house’s second floor caught fire. The 40 year-old live streamer as well as his 73-year-old mother, 68 year-old father, and a 62 year-old relative sustained injuries.

Like others said, put a burning bag on top of a pile of papers, try to put it out by hitting it with cardboard then just lay it on top of the fire when that doesn't work.

It was almost like he was trying to feed the fire. So much wrong that he did.

LOL da fuq? This guy panicked if I ever saw it. That could have been completely avoidable and dealt with. There was no need to burn down your house.

Sorry about the injuries...
but this sort of shit happens.

Try working at a car garage. Fires break out occasionally and good fire-suppression makes this just another excuse to break for coffee+doughnuts (as apposed to burning out the floor and injuring grandma).

Well, not an issue as long as you're using halon suppressant.

Just a simple fucking water sprayer would have gone a long way...
No used, half-full coffee mugs. No water bottles laying around... Geeezzz

I had two of those 'emergency fire starters'. they require lighter fluid inside, but the cap is also the part he's using to strike the flint. It's a stupid design. You have an open container of flammable liquid bouncing around next to a spark.
I threw them out.

The home is set up to start a fire. Nothing like having cardboard an plastic strewn about for your burning pleasure! Can't tell if this is on purpose, or if he's retarded...

I wonder if the instructions say to pour out the lighter fluid onto whatever you are trying to start BEFORE striking the flint to make a spark to light the fire.

Retarded design either way.

"CLEAN YOUR ROOM!"

Now I know why. In case this guy shows up at the house.

New way to scare you kids. Keep your room clean or else I will let this guy come visit for the night with a crappy lighter.

Might want to get a few, especially any room that you will be having any type of fire in (even if just to light something you are smoking). Although might want to spend time figuring out how to use one if you are confused by a lighter.

Smother the f***ing fire with that blanket; don't smash/fan the flames with it! Ye gods.
