Mimicking mx518 paintjob

Don't know if this has been asked before (yes, I searched google), but does anybody know how Logitech paints (method(s) and paint type) the mx518 to give it that gnurled metal look?

I ask b/c I would like to replicate the mx518 paintjob to my Logitech Elite keyboard face so both my keyboard AND mouse match.

I think Logitech paints them from under the plastic.

there was a worklog i think awhile back that someone did where they painted there mx518 i think and they showed what paint they used i'll try to find it.

I always thought it was just some layer or sticker they put on. i agree that it is a cool paintjob. Maybe some guys in the autobody/painting business will know how to get this type of finish.

im not sure if thats just painted or if they actually have dimples in it or not but if you are good with an airbrush, you could probably get that same look.
