Microsoft WirelessG routers & pci adapters any good?

Hi all, if your reading this, thanks. I'm about to setup a wireless network for my bro inlaw for his computer and Playstation 2 with cable internet. First of all i'm looking at a Microsoft Wireless G router and pci adapter setup. Their priced fairly decent. I just need to know if Microsoft wireless products are any good. I've only used DLink routers and I loved it but it wasn't wireless. And I know nothing about wireless. So if you know anything about Microsoft wireless products please inform me. And if theres anthing I should know about hooking up wireless networking to computers and a playstation 2 please let me know. I'm planning on hooking the cable internet to the router, useing the wireless adapter for the computer and plugging the Playstation 2 directly to the router using a cat 5 cable. Thanks in advance.
