Microsoft SideWinder X8 Gaming Mouse - $60 shipped

nice deal, about $15 cheaper than everywhere else... got mine about two weeks ago, it's rather nice....
 
Yeah I got mine from amazon when it was a few bucks more. Its a pretty nice mouse. I replaced my G7 with this one. I like it so far.
 
Anyone tested it in FPS gaming? Tried the MX1100 a couple months ago and it was horrible.
 
I have an OLD microsoft Intilimouse from like 2001.. I need a new one.. Is this good for gaming?
 
i tried it for gaming and i am impressed by it. it was a good step up compared to the mx700 i had
 
I liked it for gaming as well. As good or better in my hand as my G5 or G7.

iirc this is a bluetrack mouse, so it supposedly works on 'any surface,' whatever that means. but i mean if you're at the [h] you should be a proud ratpad owner.
 
I have a X TRAC Ripper XL and XXL and it works fine on both of those. These are both cloth pads by the way.
