Safari is based on an engine called Blink. It is either the same as Chromium with a different name or a fork of it (which is so similar that they are considered the same).Is Safari also Chromium based? If not then that's always a viable alternative. I see Apple making a big security push lately and the weight and size of the Apple ecosystem + users will ensure support for the time being.
