Just talked to the guys. They had them out this morning. So far as of 40 mins ago, they all said only 2 or 3 people asked about them.

This is not going to go well .................

Exactly. The 2080 makes zero sense ....... why release it at $799.

Hoping pricing comes down for the 2080 Ti.

None of this is making any sense now.

2080 is a complete waste right now and if they rot on the shelves then thats a good thing. Only way Nvidia will get the message the price is all wrong.

No surprise. Plenty of them in stock around the web as well. I remember how long it took to get a 1080 at release. Ridiculously popular...

Wonder what price would have changed this situation for the 2080? 499? 599? Reviews showing how crazy fast it is when using the new technologies? Oh wait...

Yep, you can buy them straight from Nvidia at that price.

Good. The 1080ti was already at the extreme of what most people are willing to pay, and they thought they could increase prices because cards were selling during the mining craze. Hopefully, these things stay on the shelf, and they are forced to admit they were wrong.

The only card worth considering is the 2080Ti depending on your needs/wants. But it's a tough pill to swallow at $1199. At the $799 price point it would be a no brainer to a lot of people.

    The 2080 at $799? After Tax it's $845 or so...when a used 1080Ti is $500? I can buy a 1080Ti AND a 1080 non-Ti for what the 2080 is going for.

Just wait until the 2070s drop, who in their right mind is going to pay 1080ti money for 1070ti performance...
