the in store deals for cpus/mobo combos are great.

I picked up a 7850k+Asus mobo for like $130, 4790k+Giga board $390, and 5820k+board+16gb (4x4) mem $759
 
Pretty sure I paid less on the before black friday november sale... hmmm. Regarding 4K, I'm going to wait until they are capable of 120hz @ 4K (even if its just interpolated) without a huge amount of lag.
 
Most of what Micro Center has in their "black friday" sales is the same exact price it's been for weeks and months. Like most retailers they just list the same crap over and over and hope the public is dumb enough to fall for it.
