Microcenter: 11700k for $199.99!

If you have Microcenter access you can also get a 5700X for $249 which is probably a better deal if you don't already own a LGA 1200 motherboard. You get identical-to-slightly-better performance at half the power.
 
Well I already had a Z590 board at time of purchase only 10th gen cpus were available. Cheap upgrade if you ask me.
 
Just bought an i5-11400 for my son's build for like $140 at MC about 6 weeks ago. Now the 11600k is $10 more and it's only another $50 jump to the 11700k.
 
This, and the 11600K at $149, have been these prices for almost 2 months. So, no need to rush.
 
I feel bad for my plumber friend, his dodge 5500 has a 55 gallon diesel tank and it gets ~9-10 mpg. He lives out in the country and works in the city mostly :/
