I read a review somewhere for the XLR8 that claimed that it was using Intel NAND with a SandForce controller. What are the Optima series using and is it able to be considered as reliable?
I saw a deal on these the other day from TD, but I was unsure about its durability since they were only offering a 1-year warranty on them. PNY offers 3 - 5 years on some of their other SSDs and the XLR8 was only $10 more a couple weeks ago.

I just looked at the link and it shows that this drive has a 3 year warranty.
3-Year Limited Warranty (1 Year plus 2 additional years with registration at www.pny.com)
They are usually really good with their website but damn I think Frys has them beat with information. They don't have a thing down for actual specs.
