Mpcon is one of Michigan's largest LAN party organizations. Our last event drew over 195 gamers from the detroit area and has been one of the most sucessful LAN parties for the last 7 years. The event is going to be held at Kochoff Hall in the University of
Michigan-Dearborn: University Center building.

While MPCon is apparently to have the largest MI LAN by a single group, BoxHeads and WaldomanLAN have joined forces for a 250 person LAN in Lansing...which is completely booked already has a waiting list.

I plan on attending both.

Actually, this title is incorrect.


GRLanparty holds the largest Michigan LAN party gathering, far exceeding MPCon and slightly exceeding Boxheads/WML's attendance.

Somehow I feel compelled to respond. GRLanparty doesn't really exist anymore. MPCon has had 15 straight 150+ person LAN parties consecutively since 2000. 180+ consecutively since 2004.

That said -- it's not a contest. We promote all LAN parties in Michigan. We should all work together and share ideas to create a better experience for everyone.
