If anyone picked this up can you answer 100% if you can use gamecube controllers with this game or not?

Comes out the 28th, I think. Either way, not out yet. I think gamespot has an article up somewhere talking about how the controls work in the game.

I hope I get a Wii before Metal Slug hits, I really want to play 6 since it's the only one I haven't played nor beaten yet.

I hear it supports a variety of controls, including gamecube controller, which is good. There is a video floating around showing the multiple ways to play it on a Wii.
