Hello everyone. Need some input. after reading a few posts about crucial ram having weird problems (due to possibly running to hot) im looking to replace my current set
this is what i got, its been a little over a month.
EVGA nForce 680i LT SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
TWO sets of Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Model BL2KIT12864AA1065
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E8400

now i really was planning on pushing this memory to 1066. i set everything up in the bios to the mfg specs for the ram. the system boots and runs great till a little time passes. Ive memtested the sticks at 1066 and at the bios defaults for 800 speed rating and never get any errors. i tried a stick of 800 xms from my friends computer who has the SAME setup except 4 gigs of 800 mhz xms, works fine with no errors no crashing. So I think my memory is the problem. I also never pushed it passed 2 volts.

bottom line im looking for a diff brand of ram.

ive never had a problem with xms line so i was planning on going with 2X 2 gig 1066 sets.
its been a while since i played with any of this stuff. i really just went by user reviews for the products.

So... any reco's on what i should get. 1066 XMS good?... i miss playing tf2 at 150 FPS ;)
