Maze4 Peltier, or plain Apogee? ...or can I mix-and-match?

I have an Apogee cooling my 146 right now, and I'm always looking for ways to push it a bit further. (It's already at 3GHz. :))
I'm looking at a used Maze4+226W Pelt block, and I'm thinking that even though the Maze4 isn't as good as the Apogee, the added Peltier should more than make up for it. What would you do?

There's another possibility- how hard would it be to remove the Peltier from the Maze4 and jury-rig it under the Apogee instead? I've heard the Apogee and MCW6002 are both great TEC blocks, and I can get a 6002 easily if it's a better choice.

to fit out either the apogee or MCW6002 for use with a pelt, you would need to drill and tap holes for cold plate retention screws.

swiftech sells a peltier equipped version of the MCW 500x block.

having released a pelt-enabled version of the MCW60 GPU block, i would not be supprised if they released a pelt-enabled apogee in the near future.

all that being said......are you fully aware of what it takes to power, cool, and condensation proof a system to get a pelt rig up and running?
