Max HD size for ABIT IC7-G Max II

Hi guys,

Old board... using it in my file server atm. I know for a fact that it won't recognize my 1TB drive as its the first PC I put that into, and I know it recognizes the 500GB I have in it.

My question is what is the maximum size this will support? If I grabbed a 750GB would it detect it and work?

Haven't found much useful on Google.

It should handle the 1TB no problem. You're sure the drive isn't bad?

It is, and was, set to limit to SATA I speeds - first thing I checked so no that's not it I will double check this tonight however!

Yup set your bios for SATA 1 and you should be fine.
