    Hey guys,

I am making a slideshow for my Aunt's 60th birthday.

Video will be 12-15 mins long...multiple photos with background songs.

I am looking for something very user friendly..I don't need anything fancy. Maybe a couple transition animations going from one photo to another.

I'll just be working with just a folder full of pictures and 4 mp3 files (can convert if needed)

Any suggestions what what to use?

    Whatever you have that's free.
If you want to be super cheap and ghetto about it, you could create a powerpoint slide show that automatically changes photos after (x) seconds and play the 4 songs on a custom burned CD.
That's probably the simplest "dumb" method to do it. But it would have zero learning curve and be incredibly simple to accomplish.

If you use and video editing software the complexity goes up a notch, but iMovie will get you there if you're on a Mac. If you're on a PC, I guess the equivalent is Microsoft Movie Maker?
If you have access to Lightroom or Photoshop, either can do basic video edits.
