Madden 07 Xbox 360 question

I'm about ready to buy a Xbox 360- and was wondering if Madden 2007 still works online now that 2008 is out? My brother and I (who live in opposite parts of our state) was thinking about getting Xboxs and play Madden online against each other. You can pick up Madden 2007 used for $10.00- which would be just fine for us, but I didn't know if the multiplayer online component still works for the 2007 version. Probably a stupid question- but I've been mostly a PC gamer and am kind of new to consoles. Haven't bought a console since the Sega Genesis LOL

No 07 doesnt work online as far as I know, EA usually stops that from happening to ensure you will buy the new one.. anyways 08 is way better than 07 imo

Honestly, Madden 08 is far better then 07 and well worth the purchase.

But thats just me. EA discontinues the online play after a while. Not 100% if its been disabled yet, but I am sure it will be soon.
