Hi guys, need your opinion on these active monitors:

M-Audio Studiophile BX5a Deluxe

and

Wharfedale DS5A Active Near Field

They are both have 5" & 1" driver, bi-amp, with wharfedale edging with slightly higher power output (100w vs 70w)

It is mostly going to be use for listening casual music (pop / jazz) and a bit of gaming. It will be situated on a desk in a relatively small room, so raw power is not what i'm after here. Instead clarity, sound stage, and tight-bass are.
I already have a sub so the lower end range is taken care of.

Any thoughts? :)

Are they gonna be right on the desk? Not usually ideal... Sound will bounce off the desk, etc.

Well, it will probly be either tilted up towards the ear or placed on something.

Ahh, that'll help... I've only heard the BX5 tho so I can't really help with your main question, here's another free bump tho. :p

Haha thanks for the bump.
Its not very easy to find the review for the wharfedale, and similarly more reviews for AV40 than BX5 :(
