Lowe's Real Organized Steel Freestanding Shelving Unit 45 dollars

This deal is really good, we just bought the Safco brand from WB Mason with a castor set for over $400 dollars, for our server room. I wish I had know about these. Oh well not my money :D!

Not trying to be offensive, but you should care about stuff like that. That money could have been potential raise money for yourself. Or speaking in these tough economic times, that might have been your last pay check before the business you work for (maybe) closes down

These are definitely a really good deal though.

In for two - no black sucks but maybe I can do a switch at pickup.

No luck on the switch - they are oversold in Greensboro, NC but they would not do me a solid and help themselves out as well. Anyway now to deal with the wife and the mix match of colors. Like it matters in the garage anyway.

P.S. Someone had bought two pallets full of them - No idea what or why but damn that was a lot of shelving.

Check your local Craigslist listings later today, you'll probably find them there.

I never understand why some people tie up thousands of dollars in things to resell for a max of $20 profit a piece. They must have very low value on their time. :p

The NEATO code worked for me, but there's no option for In-store Pickup and they're adding $13 in shipping. ugh.

Are you guys able to get in-store pickup & no shipping?

I got my in store to work also it worked without any problems.

Click the 'check inventory' link on the item page and it will show you several close retail locations. Find one with inventory and click 'shop this store', this worked for me.

Get a can of matte black spray paint and go to town.

You cannot have an extra space with the code either. Poor web design.

For a few bucks more, you can add casters to it and make it rolling.

Picked mine up and I am very satisfied with the quality of these shelves, especially for the price. Went to order two more and now it says, "Purchase does not qualify for promotion." Guess they caught wind of these flying out the stores. :D

Yeah, when I went to pick mine up at the Philly Lowe's today, they had like 5 of them lined up at the customer service counter. It must have been a popular promotion.

When I picked two sets up last night, it took the associate like 10 minutes to pull them up front because she said their pickup staging area was filled with these shelves. I also laughed at the printed flyer they had in store advertising the special sale price of 69.99 on these units. :p

Wonder if these are the same quality as foodservice shelves? I know those are strong as hell.

Lol, no offense taken, but trust me in my environment things that are common sense and could save money are sadly not priorities.

Somebody might be getting a Hydroponics Lab going in their basement. ;)

Anyone else notice a difference in pricing on the coupon? I ordered two sets, two days apart. One for me (first one) and one for my Dad.

This is the info:
$42.62 (Shelve 1)
$42.62 (Shelve 2)
$6.91 (Tax)
Total: $92.16

Second order (two days later):
$36.95 (Shelve 1)
$36.95 (Shelve 2)
$5.99 (Tax)
Total: $79.89

Errrm. Going to pickup and I'll see what the deal is. I just tried another set to see what I got price wise and it was the first set's $92 price.

Well, the NEATO code is applicable again but now shows as $49.61 a unit before tax for me.

Code is now 29% off instead of the 39% it was yesterday.

The shelves were on sale a few days ago for approximately $10 off list, maybe that sale price is no longer in effect and which would about account for the difference.

I think that was it. They pricematched with no issue - didn't even need to ask.

I put these togethor last night, nice big and beefy shelves. Couldn't be happier.

NEATO code appears to be dead. Pity since local store just got them back in stock. Go figures.

This is a great deal, plastic shelves would never take these abuse these things will. I have one in my office loaded down with easily 400 lbs of tools and miscellaneous stuff and it has never once felt anything less that absolutely sturdy.

Actually I've found that the plastic ones are tougher, if less sturdy. The trouble with the wire shelves is that individual wires can be bent. They make inserts and full sheet metal shelves for these units though (InterMetro).

The trouble with the plastic ones is that they aren't adjustable and you lose almost a foot of space because of the thickness of the shelves.

real metro shelves are rated to over 500lbs a shelf.. all plastic shelves I've ever used have sagged in the center. There are some fake metro at walmart that's a lot thinner and the diameter of the poles are smaller which may be weaker than the plastic ones.
