Going on a long-ish motorcycle adventure next summer where I probably won't have access to power for up to 3-5 days straight.
But I need a gaming laptop that will last :D

I will bring a 300-350 Kwh battery pack with some weak solar panels that will hopefully charge somewhat while I'm monkeying around (I plan to stay in sunny places most of the time).
I also plan to turn off the laptop screen and use one of those AR glasses like Viture XR Pro. I believe there is a power bank for those.
Nvidia is probably the best bet (as of now) because I could just limit fps to 120 and then use DLSS + FG to get some free frames and leave some headroom for the GPU. Maybe even dial it down to 60 fps as I don't really see much difference.

Alternative is next-gen Steam Deck or alternatives to game with those titles that work well with a gamepad and use the laptop as

And finally, I'm not in a hurry, maybe something better will come out around April? The new mobile chips have really good iGPUs.

get a deck and a big battery bank. i think youre asking too much for a laptop and vr....

Anything with a amd apu is a decent choice for light gaming and battery life. My lenovo ideapad with a 2500u has lasted through 4 years of being thrown in a backpack and taken everywhere. It was pretty cheap too. Works fine for light gaming or older games, works flawlessly for web browsing, videos, development and 90% of things I use a computer for.

Personally, less is more. A steam deck might be enough and has pretty low power consumption. Or if you are really just needing to be able to play vr games while in the wilderness, maybe just get a set of quest goggles.

I cannot use only Steam deck as I often play games that don't work well with a gamepad.
Also I find it underpowerd for 1080p gaming.

Edit:
Strix Halo seems to be the solution, althouigh I'd really like Nvidia for DLSS3+FG.
