This game isn't exactly brand new, (came out in September.) I searched this forum quite a bit, and didn't see a thread. I picked it up the other day though, and have been playing it with my daughter. It's an absolute blast, so I thought I'd drop a quick note to recommend it here.

Multiple players man different battle stations on a single spaceship, so you have to run back and forth like a platform game to say man a gun on one side of the ship. Then run to another station to rotate the shield or activate a special weapon. I let my daughter fly the ship while I handle the combat. It can get pretty hectic and even a little stressful sometimes, but it's REALLY fun, and pretty funny too. I'd highly recommend it for a good local co-op fix.
