Lost Planet DX9 demo problem, it doesn't let me get my resolution past 1280x960. I need to get to 1680x1050 and the game runs like shit btw on a 8800GTS 640, 2GBs Ram, E6300. I can put some stuff on medium and other stuff on high and I cannot keep my FPS above 45FPS most of the time. Poorly optimized game that doesn't look all that good.
 
Yeah, they didn't include many resolutions in the demo (only one actually, IIRC).
 
Anyone have the full version???

Does it allow more resolutions.....like 1680 x 1050???
 
I am at 1680x1050 in the full version, and no I was not able to use that option in the demo.
 
The demo wont start up for me. Before the game launches I get an error that says 'Fatal error: Invalid display mode 1280x720' . Wth is this crap? My monitor is running at its native res of 1680x1050. Can I not play the demo or what?
 
The demo also crashes every time I play it. I'll get into the snow level and then kill the first big bug and try to move on then it crashes...LAME GAME

That's not true...I played the demo and can run it at 1920x1200 and all the resolution below that, using the Dell 2407.
The driver is 158.45. Tried the 162.15 and I get a blank screen with the demo.
Got the full version yesterday and it runs even better then the demo. Looks like the game was optimized a little more.
 
Is everyone here using nvidia's beta drivers or something?

I dont know why I wouldnt be able to run this game. I've got some pretty good hardware. But I'm not using the latest beta drivers, just the latest official ones.

Still dont know why I'm getting this error about the 1280x720 resolution... I couldnt seem to find anything online about it either.
 
I was able to fix this problem and get the game to run by using my seconday monitor. It supports the 1280x720 resolution. However, the game is giving me an error after a few minutes of playing about 'out of video memory' or some crap. Pffft. Yeah right....my 8800gtx is out of video memory....
 
i played full version yesterday,and work flawless at 1280x1024 dx9,all at maximum
