So my girlfriend is in the market for a new laptop. Her budget is $1000 or less. We were thinking it should have a screen no bigger than 15" and no integrated graphics.
She has two programs that the laptop needs to run:
Vicon Nexus (a video aquisition software/integrator)
and
Visual 3D (a video kinematic analysis software program)
She actually runs these through remote desktop.
The laptop needs to be fairly portable, but does not have to be ultra-portable. She won't be doing any heavy gaming. It also needs to be fairly future proof, possibly an i3, i5 or i7 processor (or whatever fits the budget I guess.)
I have been looking around online, but haven't really seen anything that has stuck out. What do you guys think?
