Hi all,

Quick question. I'm looking to pick up a 32GB (4x 8GB) kit this winter and I'm wondering if anyone has any input on ram kits. Right now I'm looking at the gskill ripjaw Z set, but I can't find any decent reviews. I want a 1866 kit and I do not want to over clock. This will be paired with an fx 8350 when it comes out.

Edit:
I should note this is for a photo/video editing machine. I really just need ram that will not crap out on me and I need a lot of it.

The F3-1866C10Q-32GXL kit is a good kit. I have a few designers @ work with 1866 kits in their systems and this is what they use. No problems thus far!

That and G.Skill's RMA service is top notch with little hassle if anything breaks

for the capacity of ram you are asking, i don't see many options on newegg. this crucial stick has way nicer timings, though. i'd assume this to be much newer tech and probably more reliable, though not thoroughly tested; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148562&name=Desktop-Memory

i wouldn't go for cheapy ram for what you are asking

[edit] here's a less quick, but probably a good kit. i'd trust this over g.skill; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226328&name=Desktop-Memory [/edit]

Ive got the Crucial Ballistix Elite 2x4gb 1866 kit. Amazing sticks and mine are clocked at 2133mhz 9-9-9-27 at 1.6v the 8gb sticks might not clock as high, but will be rock soild and have a lifetime warranty too boot. They run nice and cool even at 1.6v. Heat spreaders are a little tall but work great in my system, going to grab another kit, 16gb is more than enough for me.

I'm running 2x 4x8GB (32GB) Corsair Vengeance 1866 kits...they're flawless. If you go to Newegg you can pick up a kit for like $165 while it's on sale...
