Looking for software to record video game while played on computer

I want to post a video walk-through for a video game. I want to play the game, but then have some software record the video and sound and record it into an AVI or flash which I plan to post on youtube. Performance should not be an issue because the game is kind of old (Team Fortress Classic). Anyone know good software for doing this? I don't have a microphone so I only need the video (preferably full-screen capture) and sound as it appears on my system.

Fraps is definitely the most widely used software for this.

Thanks for the tips. If I want to capture an Excel or PowerPoint "How do I" will gamecam work for that too?

If you're using vista, fraps can record the desktop via recording the DWM.

For desktop recording I've always used SnagIt. Fraps does work though, last time I checked (I haven't actually used it in awhile).
