I'm working with a non profit organization that needs an online event logistics system. Something to track IT and classroom materials requests for a once a year event. They only have a shoestring budget for this. I am hoping to find some free or open source app that meets the needs. If not I'll need to code it myself. I'm not against that, just if I can save time I'm all for it. They already have sufficient hosting to cover any reasonable DB and computing needs.
What they need is something to allow internal employee's as well as vendors and other contract support to access a system to track everything from requests for a multimedia projector to how the classroom tables are laid out. Whats already in the rooms, what is requested, and what is needed. They have about 150 classes and 50 some bits of info for each to track, and 50ish people will need access to it.
any suggestions for existing software?
