I'm looking to buy a new laptop for business purpose within the next week. I have a budget of $1,300 and I don't want anything too heavy or larger than 14". I customized a Lenovo ThinkPad E420 to the following specs:

System components
Intel Core i7-2620M Processor (2.70GHz, 4MB L3)
Genuine Windows 7 Professional 64
Microsoft Windows 7 XP Mode - English
14.0" W HD (1366x768), AntiGlare, Midnight Black
Intel HD Graphics 3000
8 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM)
UltraNav with TrackPoint & touchpad plus Fingerprint reader
720p HD Camera
500 GB Hard Disk Drive, 7200rpm
Multi Recorder Optical Drive (12.7mm)
9 cell 2.8Ah Li-Ion Battery
Country Pack North America with Line cord & 65W AC adapter
Bluetooth 3.0
Intel Centrino Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250

Do any of you have experience with Lenovo? Is there any better laptop within this budget??

I needed small and light weight myself. I just ordered one from here. http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/cdetland.to?poid=2000001426
I went minumum on the hdd and ram because I am upgrading myself to 8 gigs ram and a 512gb m4 ssd

"Portege R830-ST8300
Intel® Core™ i7-2620M processor 2.70GHz (3.40GHz with Turbo Boost Technology), 4MB Cache, Genuine Windows® 7 Professional 32-bit
Genuine Windows® 7 Professional 64-bit, 2GB DDR3 1333MHz SDRAM (2048MBx1), 320GB HDD (5400rpm, Serial-ATA), DVD SuperMulti (+/-R double layer) drive, Integrated WebCam, Enhanced Lithium-Ion Battery (9-cell, 93Wh), Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6230 (802.11a/g/n) + WiDi Capable* + Bluetooth v.3.0 + EDR, Microsoft® Office 2010 Starter, 1 Year Standard Limited Warranty,"

In that price range, and if you don't want anything heavy or large, I would look into the Alienware m11x R3, it has plenty of power and is only 11.6". I would look around for reviews.
