So, I've done a good deal of surfing on Newegg, Amazon and Bestbuy looking for a good deal on an "ok" gaming laptop. Thing is I know gaming laptops aren't that great but I work for a company that needs late night coverage in a call center where some shifts not a single call comes through. I can run older games on my Surface Pro 3 but I want a better experience.

I am hoping that the 20-series of mobile GPUs will push down the price of the 1070 mobile products so I can turn on AA and increase the resolution of my games, and play newer ones.

Anyone know of any leaked information supporting these yet?

    lol

I am also waiting for new mobile GPUs as I am in the market for a new gaming laptop.
There doesn't seem to be anything official yet, except a few places reporting a sighting of a mobile part code ("TU104M") listed - I'm no expert but apparently this indicates a planned Mobile version.
I'm willing to wait a month or two so let's see, maybe some cool stuff will be released in time for Christmas...?

There are no significant performance and efficiency gains this gen so I wouldn't worry about it unless you absolutely need the latest and greatest. Though yeah it could push down the price of previous gen hardware in some cases, maybe.
