does anyone know any brand name Blu ray sata internal drive that is made in japan,

I would like to buy one. I know the older model of Pioneer used to be made in Japan. But I'm hoping for suggestion of other brand

the -jbk is a lot cheaper. no idea if its made in japan though, but it is imported.

that model is made in china.

I can't find any new model that is made in Japan. My current model is Pioneer BDR-S08, it's very nice. But it seems all these models from all these brand names are all made in china

so I have no choice but to pick one that is the best in quality.

1 good thing about the model I use that is made in japan is that it's silent when it's burned at high speed.

A cheap basic DVD burner, for e.g., is quite loud for the same process
