I have 2 supermicro super servers both have the same issue the model is this one:6034H-XBR
I know they are older but hope someone may have some advice on how to fix them.
Ok here is the deal both of these servers have onboard scsi with a scsi backplane my problem is neither seem to have ever had drives installed in the bays, I activated the onboard scsi installed the drives and when I boot the server, the drives spin up but turn off without errors and don't restart without a shut down. The scsi card sees them but can't use them because they are showing a failed start request? both have the same issue, it seems it would have to be something interrupting the scsi to cause them to boot up but I have had no luck in identifying the issue.

Nevermind looks like drives were not usable by this system.
